I’ve listened to Saint Motel for awhile now and am always puzzled at why they arent a lot more popular! They feature a slew of catchy songs that’ll keep you singing along many a car ride or maybe be a great accompany to your in-room dance routine! Founded in 2007, the group is still very much active to this day!

Songs to start with: For Elise, Feed Me Now, Puzzle Pieces, Sweet Talk

The Hollies

The Hollies were formed in 1962 and according to wikipedia, are credited for pioneering in their 3-vocal harmony singing. They feature a sound that is typical 60s sound, but thats not to say they are cliche.

Songs to start with: Layin’ to the music, Bus Stop, Carrie Anne, Long Cool Woman

The Magnetic Fields

Founded in 1989, The Magnetic Field is lead by Stephen Merritt and his low octave voice. Their music is very much indie-pop. Their music reminds me of Joy Division’s in a way, but they are still a great band with creative lyrics and a great sound!

Songs to start with: Book of Love, Andrew in Drag, Strange Powers, ’68: A Cat called Dionysus
